Sandra’s Italian Roast

INGREDIENTS

2-3 lb. Roast Beef or Pork Butt
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1 pk of Onion Soup Mix
For Assembly:
Hamburger Buns
Prepared Horseradish
Shredded Italian Cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place roast in slow cooker.

  2. In a bowl mix Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and onion soup mix.

  3. Pour mixture over roast and fill the slow cooker up with water until fluids are half way up the roast.

  4. Cook roast on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

  5. Use two forks to shred roast and place back into crockpot juices to marinate.

  6. To assemble sandwiches, top meat with a smear of prepared horseradish and cheese.
